Couscous is my princess!

She came to me on the Easter long weekend 2005, emaciated, starving weighing just 900 grams. She was found howling in a back ally in Waterloo. When the vet scanned her microchip we discovered she was 3 years old, born in Bathhurst and had been missing for 3 months.  Poor little thing, on deaths door and so her new life began.

Her previous owner didn't want her back and I was happy to take her in and nurse her back to health. I called her couscous which she seemed to like, and a life of luxuries and adventures began.

She is now 14 years old and her favourite pastime (being Siamese) is cuddles followed by cuddles followed by even MORE cuddles and then chasings, hide and seek and sleeping in cupboards and bags. She’s also very excited by a doona or a hot water bottle. But cuddles before anything.

Gentle in nature and full of affection she is my love sponge and princess.

I’m so glad we found each other.
